Job summary

TRISYSTEMS ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a Proposal Engineer for on-site work at our Sendayan headquarters in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The role supports project and tender execution by preparing technical and commercial proposals and coordinating document submissions.

The candidate will review technical specs, prepare project documents, liaise with customers for clarifications, and manage cost control while coordinating procurement and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in proposal and costing preparation, preferably in oil and gas industry.
• Expert knowledge in PLC panel, system drawings.
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• Review project technical specifications and requirements.
• Prepare, revision, and submission of project documents.
• Liaise with customers for technical clarifications.
• Manage project cost control.
• Source and liaise with suppliers for procurement.
• Support sales and coordinate with relevant department for project execution.
• Ensure proposals are compliant and timely.
• Coordinate RFPs and tender documents; finalize assumptions with Proposals Manager.
• Fulfill duties of Senior Engineer, Proposal when required.
