Job summary

Trisys Engineering Sdn Bhd is hiring a Process Engineer to join our on-site team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. You will design, optimise and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness across operations.

The role requires a strong foundation in process design, thermodynamics, and CAD/process modelling tools, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. You will collaborate with production, quality and maintenance, lead process improvements and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of professional experience in process engineering or a related field within manufacturing or industrial operations.
Strong knowledge of process design principles, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
Experience with CAD software and process modelling tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking capability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing process flow diagrams and process specifications for new and existing manufacturing operations.
Analysing and optimising existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance product quality.
Conducting process simulations and modelling to predict performance and identify potential improvements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, quality and maintenance to implement process changes.
Performing equipment selection, sizing and specification for production facilities.
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
Troubleshooting process issues and developing solutions to maintain optimal operational performance.
Documenting and maintaining process documentation, standard operating procedures and technical specifications.
Monitoring process performance through data collection and analysis, implementing corrective actions when required.
Participating in capital projects and leading process improvement initiatives.
