Renal Laboratories Sdn. Bhd. in Nilai, Malaysia, seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the safe and efficient operation of medical device and pharmaceutical production facilities.

You will focus on preventive and remedial maintenance, electrical repairs, and continuous improvement to minimise downtime. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, motors, and production equipment, plus the ability to read technical documents and SOPs.

Formación

• Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, facilities / industrial maintenance.
• Hands-on experience performing preventive, remedial & electrical maintenance on industrial or production equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, circuits, switches, receptacles & related components.
• Ability to read and follow technical documents, SOPs, work instructions & equipment check sheets.
• Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis & corrective action implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and assist contractors, ensuring safety, quality and cleanliness of work.
• Guide contractors in critical areas when required.
• Conduct daily site inspections of facilities and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and remedial maintenance on building systems, equipment and production machinery.
• Create equipment check sheets and provide reports to the Technical/Production Manager.
• Carry out electrical repairs, including replacement of lamps, ballasts, switches and receptacles.
• Wire single-phase and three-phase motors and install electrical circuits.
• Formulate inspection and testing plans for existing production equipment, focusing on electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Generate and update SOPs and work instructions for equipment and processes.
• Analyze inspection results and ensure root cause analyses are conducted.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring breakdowns and downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status and risks to stakeholders.
