Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of technical standards and safety regulations relevant to mechanical systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
• Competence in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
• Previous experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or related industrial sectors would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team in mechanical engineering activities, technical documentation, drawing coordination, site inspections, progress monitoring, QA/QC records, and other related project requirements as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Checking mechanical works on site and cross-checking drawings between Mechanical & Civil.
• The candidate shall be stationed full-time at the project site in Lahad Datu, Sabah.
