Job summary

MEGAGENIX | CFD & FEA Consultant in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a Simulation Engineer to support high-fidelity CFD/FEA studies on-site at our Ipoh office. This full-time role focuses on delivering accurate simulations for complex engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will prepare models, execute simulations, and post-process results, while contributing to technical reports and recommendations. A technical engineering degree with hands-on CFD/FEA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree in a technical field.
• At least 1 year of CFD/FEA, engineering simulation, or performance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with CFD/FEA software such as ANSYS Fluent/Mechanical, Cradle SCFLOW/SCSTREAM, or OpenFOAM/Abaqus/STAR-CCM+.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CFD/FEA models with geometry, meshing, materials, and boundary conditions.
• Run steady-state and transient simulations for fluid flow, heat transfer, and structural analysis.
• Post-process, interpret, and evaluate simulation results; create figures and reports.
• Maintain documentation of modelling assumptions, methodologies, inputs and results.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot modelling challenges.
