Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Technician to monitor and optimize HVAC and mechanical systems at our Klang, Malaysia site. You will execute preventive maintenance, respond to fault reports, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely repairs and safety compliance.

The role requires a certificate in HVAC or mechanical systems, 2–5 years of facilities experience, and a valid forklift license; CLS certification is required for one technician.

Qualifications

• Certificate/SKMM/MARA in HVAC or mechanical systems is required.
• 2–5 years of commercial facility experience.
• Valid forklift operator license (DOSH-certified).
• Certified Lifting Supervisor (CLS) certification is required for one technician.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance and respond to fault reports and work orders.
• Coordinate with external vendors and supervise contractors.
• Operate forklifts for material handling and logistics support.
• Supervise lifting operations and ensure lifting safety compliance (for one technician).
• Support common area systems and general maintenance tasks.
