Job summary

ELSA is seeking a Site Supervisory Engineer in Malaysia to oversee piling, building, civil and structural work on-site. You will monitor progress, coordinate contractors, and ensure safe working conditions and proper permit procedures.

You should have a diploma in engineering, 5 years in oil & gas, familiarity with P&ID, isometrics, Navisworks, and MS Office; CIDB registration is required. The role includes pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related certificate to the discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry (Onshore / Offshore Construction) and at least involvement in 2 oil & gas projects (Onshore / Offshore Construction).
• Registered with CIDB.
• Familiar in various aspects of Onshore / Offshore Construction.
• Familiar with P&ID and isometric drawing.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Power Point).
• Good communication skill with contractor & direct labour.
• Must have pre commissioning, commissioning and performance testing experience.
• Familiar with modelling software e.g., Naviswork.

Responsibilities

• Supervised and coordination of piling, building, civil & structural work.
• Direct site progress monitor project working schedule and progress work.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction contractors and maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records ensure that contractors management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permit procedures.
• Routinely study, check and review all contractor scope as detailed in drawings, specifications and instructions to ensure contractors proper interpretation and compliance with the lasted AFC drawings and specifications.
