Job summary

ELSA seeks a Project Engineer to lead and manage project activities across all phases in the Central Region (Shah Alam), Malaysia. The role requires coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet objectives and comply with PPMS and statutory requirements.

Ideal candidates have a minimum engineering degree and at least five years in oil & gas, plus relevant registrations (CIDB, BEM). PMP is a plus. Contract period is 3–4 months, on-site in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in oil & gas industry.
• Experience in at least one complete Brownfield or Greenfield project lifecycle.
• Experience in offshore/onshore conceptual and detailed design, procurement and tendering, construction and commissioning.
• CIDB registration.
• BEM registration.
• PMP accreditation (added value, optional).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project activities across all phases, including conceptual and Front-End Engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up, and operations.
• Ensure project execution complies with project specifications, PPMS, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Monitor and track overall project performance, including HSSE, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Prepare project performance reports and coordinate meetings with relevant disciplines and stakeholders to ensure objectives and deliverables are achieved.
