Job summary

SIME DARBY INDUSTRIAL SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead and deliver Oil and Gas projects. You will manage the project management team and project execution to meet budget and schedule. You will ensure customer satisfaction and maintain safety across all activities.

You will also lead the engineering team, recruit and develop staff, and continuously update knowledge to support project success and company growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
Minimum 5-7 years experience in Power Systems or related business with knowledge in electrical power engineering, rotating equipment, instruments and controls, materials, fabrication methods / procedures, heat transfer, noise control, NDT and related power generation topics.
Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
Good command of English and effective writing and presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Project management team in delivering and execution of Oil and Gas projects.
Lead and manage project execution team for all segments to complete projects within budget and time.
Ensure customer satisfaction with the product and services.
Accountable for the safety of engineering personnel and safe workplace, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Lead and motivate engineers to improve professionalism and recruit and develop candidates to meet company needs.
Continuously update knowledge of company and related products and activities for effective job performance.
