Job summary

ABB in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is seeking a Network and Cybersecurity Lead Engineer for Offshore Solution, EHouse (JB). You will steer OT cybersecurity and ICSS network design for 800xA, ensuring secure, redundant architectures and compliance across the lifecycle of offshore projects.

The role requires 8+ years in industrial networking or OT cybersecurity, familiarity with IEC 62443 and maritime standards, and hands-on experience with industrial devices and security tools.

Qualifications

• Min. 8 years of experience in industrial network engineering and/or OT cybersecurity.
• Exposure to DCS/ICSS platforms in offshore/marine/FPSO projects preferred.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISA99 cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure OT network architecture for 800xA ICSS and PMS with full redundancy and security zoning.
• Develop and maintain Cybersecurity Design Specification per IEC 62443; include RBAC, patch management, and hardening.
• Produce security deliverables: network diagrams, risk registers, IP addressing, and backup procedures.
• Deploy and integrate OT intrusion detection (Claroty/Nozomi) for passive monitoring and event visibility.
• Ensure compliance with maritime cyber resilience requirements (IACS UR E26/E27/E22) with classification society.
