Job summary

Perunding D Lite Sdn Bhd seeks a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) to promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment across offshore and onshore operations. The SHO will ensure adherence to HSE policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations, while proactively identifying hazards and leading risk management through efficient HSE leadership.

The role involves daily toolbox talks, PTW oversight, incident investigations, and close collaboration with project teams,

Qualifications

• Registered Green Book Safety & Health Officer (DOSH).
• Minimum five (5) years of Oil & Gas experience.
• Valid BOSIET and Offshore Medical certification.
• Willingness to work offshore and travel as required by project assignments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Promote compliance with company HSE policies and client requirements across offshore and onshore activities.
• Conduct routine site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments (HIRARC/JSA/JHA).
• Lead or participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure PTW compliance and monitor safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents, collect evidence, determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare HSE reports and maintain incident records.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams on HSE matters.
• Promote safety culture and continuous HSE improvement.
