Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is offering an internship in the Ocean Freight Department in Subang Jaya. It targets Business & Logistics students who want hands-on experience across the ocean freight functions.

The role includes exposure to customer communications, documentation preparation, and routine reporting, with a focus on professional English communication and MS Office skills. Successful interns will learn from senior experts and gain practical insights across export/import movements,

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with logistics minor is required.
English proficiency in written and spoken form is required.
Familiar with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Handle general correspondences with customers, suppliers, agents and internal departments for ocean freight movements.
Monitor and coordinate export and import ocean freight movements.
Prepare documentation for customers and coordinate routine reports.
Maintain records and filing per ISO requirements and standards.
Respond to internal inquiries and coordinate with other departments on ocean freight needs.
Monitor internal data and system compliance.
