Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding offers an internship in Subang Jaya for Business & Logistics students within the Ocean Freight Department. You will learn from senior experts and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the department, handling daily tasks in ocean freight operations.

Preferred candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Business Studies, with 4–6 months internship availability. English proficiency and MS Office skills are essential, and an internship allowance will be

Qualifications

Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain.
Intake for Sep 2026 onwards.
Ability to write and speak professionally in English.
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Location in Subang Jaya (USJ 25).

Responsibilities

General correspondences with customer, suppliers, agents, and inter-department for ocean freight movements.
Monitor and coordinate export & import ocean freight movements.
Prepare relevant documentation for customer.
Coordinate routine customer reports.
Maintain records and filing as per ISO requirements and standards.
Respond to internal enquiries and complaints and coordinate with other department on ocean freight needs.
Monitor internal data & system compliance.
