Job summary

EssilorLuxottica's Oakley store in Malaysia is seeking a Store in-charge to oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, profitability, recruiting, maintenance and inventory control, while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will lead and develop the team, ensure KPI targets are met, and act as an ambassador for the brand to ensure every customer experiences excellence throughout their visit. This role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and customer-centric performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the store’s day-to-day operations.
• Deliver memorable customer service and exceptional product knowledge.
• Ensure all KPI targets & expectations are delivered.
• Ensure costs are kept to a minimum & stock loss is within company guidelines.
• Regularly analyze sales performance, maximizing strengths & reviewing poor performance to establish an action plan for improvement.
• Maintain inspiring visual merchandising in store as per guidelines.
• Recruit, lead, motivate and inspire your team to succeed in store as well as support them in developing their careers.
• Ensuring that the store is always on top of the competition by being commercial focused.
• Manage all legalities & Health & Safety of the business.
• Point-of-sale and cash handling including counting, reconcile and cash deposits according to established procedures and security guidelines.
• Network effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Your role

As a Store in-charge in our retail store, you will oversee all aspects of store operations; including sales, profitability, recruiting, maintenance and inventory control as well as ensuring excellent customer service is delivered. You will improve the overall business performance and achieve objectives through effective management, leadership and development of the people in your team. In addition, you will act as an ambassador for Oakley ensuring every customer is welcomed into the store and to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the customer experience.
