Job summary

Pekat Group seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate maintenance for residential solar PV systems in Malaysia. You will troubleshoot faults, plan manpower and parts, and monitor performance to ensure sites operate reliably.

Lead technicians, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and support project planning, cost estimates, and on-call requests while upholding high safety standards.

• Experience in supervising technicians is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate maintenance activities for residential solar PV systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and system faults and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Plan manpower, work schedules, spare parts, and resources to meet service requirements.
• Monitor and verify technicians' and suppliers' work to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Review maintenance records, technical reports, and corrective action reports.
• Monitor solar PV system performance and ensure sites are operating properly.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to resolve technical issues and support project requirements.
• Lead, guide, and train maintenance technicians to improve team performance.
• Support project planning, technical assessments, cost estimates, and ad-hoc customer requests.
• Provide emergency/on-call support and carry out other duties or improvement activities as assigned by the Operations & Maintenance Manager.

Knowledge of Solar PV systems, electrical troubleshooting, and safety requirements.

Experience in technician/team management is an advantage.
