NuEnergy Holdings Berhad is hiring an O&M Technician based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya to monitor and maintain solar sites. You will perform routine operations monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, and support system testing and reporting.
We seek candidates with a Diploma or Degree, basic electrical knowledge, familiarity with solar PV components, and the ability to work independently on rooftop environments. Group insurance and career development are offered.

The company is expanding and we are now hiring a O&M Technician.
Monitor system performance remotely or on-site using SCADA/data loggers.
Identify performance anomalies or system faults.
Conduct routine walk-downs and visual inspections of the solar site.
Perform scheduled maintenance for:
Troubleshoot and repair faulty components: inverters, panels, cabling, isolators, etc.
Replace damaged equipment following fault diagnosis.
Log and elevate persistent or serious issues to engineers or supervisors。
Conduct electrical testing (IR test, IV curve, earth resistance, string current test, etc.).
Ensure compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.
Use thermal imaging, multimeters, and insulation testers as needed.
Fill out maintenance checklists and service reports.
Record fault findings, repair actions, spare part usage, and time taken.
Support monthly and quarterly performance reporting.
Ensure all activities comply with safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, working at height, etc.).
Identify and report potential hazards at site.
Possess a Diploma or Degree in related field.
Basic to intermediate electrical knowledge (DC/AC circuits).
Familiarity with solar PV system components (modules, inverters, SCBs, transformers).
Experience in solar maintenance is a plus.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor/rooftop environments.
Able to work independently and respond to on-site service calls.
