NuEnergy Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee solar PV operations and maintenance, supervise the in-house O&M team, and ensure safe, efficient site activities.
You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage tools and spares, monitor performance via SCADA, and deliver timely reports to HOD while upholding safety and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
Operations & Monitoring
Ensure smooth operation of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and associated equipment.
Identify operational abnormalities and initiate corrective actions promptly.
In charge of coordinating and supervising solar PV panel cleaning activities to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
Maintenance Management
Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities done by inhouse O&M team
Coordinate troubleshooting and fault rectification for electrical and mechanical systems.
Ensure maintenance activities are completed within scheduled timelines.
Team Supervision
Supervise and manage the in-house O&M team to ensure efficient daily operations and maintenance activities..
Provide technical guidance and on-site support to maintenance teams.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure all work activities comply with company safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safe work practices.
Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain a safe working environment.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and maintenance reports.
Report major faults, downtime events, and operational issues to HOD.
Inventory & Asset Management
Coordinate with the HOD on requests for tools, materials, spare parts, and replacement components required for maintenance activities.
Ensure proper asset management and equipment tracking.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Minimum [3–5] years of experience in solar PV operations and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical equipment, and troubleshooting practices.
Familiarity with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage field operations.
Knowledge of local electrical and safety regulations is an advantage.
Possession of a valid GDL (Goods Driving License) is an added advantage
Possession of PW4 or AO competency certification/license is an added advantage
