Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a product development professional in Kuala Lumpur to drive the non-pharma NPD framework, oversee sourcing, prototype development and cost evaluation for specialized wellness portfolios.

You will conduct market research in modular nutrition, track trends, and spearhead high-impact product expansions while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of nutraceutical/pharmaceutical experience.
• Leadership or people-management experience an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive the non-pharma new product development framework across sourcing, prototype development and cost evaluation for specialized wellness portfolios.
• Conduct market research and data analysis in modular nutrition and niche product categories to guide trends and expansions.
• Troubleshoot product quality issues, refine formulations, and coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers for compliant execution.
• Collaborate with supply chain to align production planning, coordinate deliveries and manage raw material substitutions.
