Job summary

Hospital Picaso seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead the Operating Theatre (OT) and Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). The role drives high standards of patient care, safety, and service excellence through strong governance and effective leadership.

You will oversee policies, staff scheduling, and interdepartmental collaboration to optimise theatre efficiency and care outcomes across perioperative services.

Qualifications

• Senior nursing leadership experience in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• Post-Basic perioperative qualification required.
• Strong clinical expertise in perioperative nursing, sterile processing, and endoscopy.
• Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing teams across OT and CSSD.
• Maintain exceptional patient care, safety, and infection control standards.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage staff scheduling, rostering, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate patient flow and OT efficiency with the medical team.
