Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking an NPI Planner to manage production planning, scheduling, and material readiness for new product introductions.

• Coordinate purchasing requests for R&D materials.
• Support shipping for customer samples.
• Identify critical paths and propose mitigation for delays.

Job Summary

An NPI (New Product Introduction) Planner manages production planning, scheduling, and material readiness for new product launches, bridging the gap between engineering design and full-scale manufacturing. Key duties include generating quarterly/weekly production plans, coordinating engineering build activities, and highlighting capacity or supply chain constraints

Key Responsibilities

• Material planning, scheduling, expediting and tracking for Research and Development activities
• Lead Cross Functional Teams for material planning
• Manage systems to capture and track material plans and status
• Manage and track engineering material inventory.
• Manage purchase request for R&D materials
• Facilitate shipping process for customer samples.
• Identify critical path, and propose risk mitigation and contingency strategies for delays and shortages

Qualifications and Skills

• 4+ years' experience in material planning or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft excel and power point.
• Knowledge in ERP preferred
• Communicate effectively
