The Purchasing Specialist supports the Advanced Packaging line by ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of MRO, indirect materials, and capital equipment. The role manages suppliers, supports NPI requirements, and partners with Engineering Team to develop the critical spare parts strategy. Responsibilities include driving cost savings, mitigating supply risks, and managing PR/PO and contract processes efficiently.

Products include high-performance digital power VRMs, multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages (SPS), Vertical Power Stages (SPS with integrated capacitors and multiple silicon die), Power Towers (power modules integrating multiple SPS-equivalents with capacitors and inductors), and power MOSFETs.

• Sourcing Management
• Develop sourcing strategies for MRO, Indirects, and CapEx.

• Identify and mitigate supply risks (single source, long lead items).
• Procurement Operations
• Manage PR/PO cycle, contract management, support urgent breakdown procurement and expedite where necessary.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing; exposure to semiconductor / electronics / advanced packaging preferred.
• Supplier base knowledge for advanced packaging (e.g., die attach/flip-chip/underfill/dispense, molding/encapsulation, Strip Grinding, solder printing etc).
• Computer Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting) and PowerPoint for presentations; familiarity with Word and procurement/SAP systems is an advantage.
