Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks a Production PM Sr. Manager to lead a team of Strategic Capacity PMs focusing on capacity gap analysis and solutions for the PCP Division.

You will develop demand and capacity models, align capacity investments with NPI timing, and drive scalable capacity availability. The ideal candidate combines semiconductor supply chain knowledge with program management experience to prevent bottlenecks, reduce escalations, and connect capacity roadmaps to business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain planning, or operations, with at least 5 years in direct leadership.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication and supply chain with program management experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and partnership skills across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and OSAT partners.
  • Experience identifying systemic bottlenecks, leading data-driven root cause analysis, and driving solutions across engineering, manufacturing, supplier and planning teams.
  • Advanced analytical and modeling skills (Excel, VCO, AI Optimization, SQL, Python, or similar tools).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team of Strategic Capacity PMs in developing and maintaining the component-level demand & capacity models across product lines, technology nodes, manufacturing flows, and planning horizons.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on identified capacity gaps and progress to solve.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor capacity availability, constraints, qualification status, systemic bottlenecks, recovery progress, and escalation risk.
  • Provide governance and training for the new VCO tool along with ledger process automation to track and ensure customer service agreements are prioritized.
  • Oversee efforts to build scenario-based models for best-case, worst-case, and unexpected market shifts to support executive capacity decisions.
  • Automate COGS analysis with new VCO tool to drive trend analysis to prioritize decision making for COGS reduction projects
  • Establish weekly reviews using PPM Suite automated one-pagers for PMs to review capacity project status to ensure on track, roadblocks removed and risks mitigated.
  • Train and mentor the Strategic Capacity PM team.
  • Instill within the team an engineering mindset that encourages curiosity, problem solving and innovative approaches to achieve objectives.

Job Description

We are seeking a Production PM Sr. Manager to lead a high-performing team of Strategic Capacity PMs in capacity gap and solution activities for the Performance Computing Power (PCP) Division. This role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to collaborate with a cross-function team to develop demand and capacity models as well as identify and solve capacity gaps.

The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with semiconductor supply chain knowledge, constraint engineering discipline, and program management experience to deliver predictable capacity availability at scale, reduce late capacity escalations, prevent surprise bottlenecks at ramp, and connect capacity investment and qualification roadmaps to business needs

Key Responsibilities
Leadership

Capacity Investment & Qualification Roadmap
  • Translate complex capacity risks into clear executive recommendations, decisions, and escalation paths.
  • Develop qualification roadmaps that align capacity availability with portfolio demand, NPI timing, and scale requirements.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Finance to evaluate capacity expansion options, qualification lead times, and investment trade-offs.
  • Prioritize capacity actions based on business impact, customer risk, time-to-capacity, and execution feasibility.
  • Ensure capacity plans are aligned before NPI start and remain synchronized through ramp and scale execution.
Qualifications
