Job summary

Flint Hills Resources seeks an Advanced Quality Planning Engineer (NPI) to partner with the Product Development team to create and maintain a robust Quality Plan for new products and modifications. You will focus on minimizing risks to meet customer cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in Quality Engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and self-monitoring ability.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal skills for leadership and team facilitation.
• Solid knowledge of metrology and GD&T.
• Knowledge of statistics and Minitab or similar software.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Quality Plans for new products and modifications.
• Facilitate front-end design/process reviews and PFMEA/DFMEA.
• Lead metrology plan development and qualification activities.
• Coordinate Safe Launch, process audits, and secure control plan compliance.
• Handle customer documentation for new products and modifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality.
• Drive containment and prevention to reduce recurring issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
