Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an NPI Engineer to manage cross-functional deliverables, develop schedules, and track progress to ensure new products reach market on time with quality and cost targets.

You will guide designs from prototyping through full production, perform design reviews, DFMs, and coordinate with CAD and manufacturing teams during FA and ramp-up to achieve successful launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 2-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or product development.
• Proficient in CAD software: SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
• Experience with quality tools: FMEA, SPC, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive NPIs and product launch timelines.
• Conduct design reviews, prototyping, and testing to validate specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful FA and part approval.
• Use SolidWorks/analysis to prepare DFM and quotations.
• Provide technical support to customers and collaboration with manufacturing during ramp-up.
