Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering (NPI) to drive New Product Introduction from design to mass production. You will champion robust process development, validation plans, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product launches.

Responsibilities include defining manufacturing processes, leading transfers, and applying Lean/Six Sigma to improve yield, cycle time, and cost. Travel internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing, preferably in high-tech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of NPI, product transfers, validation, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with PFMEA, process validation, and data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing process flows including planning, validation strategies, and automation techniques.
• Lead product transfers from engineering to pilot and high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop and execute validation and qualification protocols for new products and processes.
• Create work instructions, SOPs, and production controls to support readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical methods.
