Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a motivated engineer to join the Engineering Services team within the Product Development Group for graphics products.

You will manage master product data, manufacturing specifications and BOM through the product life cycle, coordinating with cross-functional teams on NPI sample planning and execution. In this fast-paced NPI environment you will leverage MS Office, attention to detail, and process-oriented thinking to drive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Experience with product data management and BOM is preferred.
Familiarity with NPI processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Establish samples plan and schedule; track, schedule, and deliver early prototype samples to stakeholders.
Solve issues in NPI samples and proactively prevent schedule interruptions.
Coordinate with AMD labs and manufacturing sites to ensure plans are followed.
Build and support manufacturing specifications and BOM throughout the product life cycle.
Manage BOM release/changes per change-management process and ensure master data integrity.
Participate in process improvement projects to drive efficiency.
