Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD in Penang is seeking an NPI Technical Process Management Engineer to bridge innovation engineering and high-volume production, turning concepts into manufacturable solutions.

You will evaluate designs, apply SPC, drive continuous improvement, and work with cross-functional teams on prototype, transfer, and scalable manufacturing processes for AI data center products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of PCBA, SMT, Wave Soldering, and Assembly processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating with multi-stakeholders to ensure smooth project transfer from R&D, Dongguan factory to Penang site.

Responsibilities

• Bridge innovation engineering and high-volume production to create manufacturable solutions.
• Evaluate product designs and provide data-driven recommendations to improve process efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative, cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Lead prototype and low-volume build processes and ensure smooth technology transfer.
• Lead quick-reaction engineering teams to troubleshoot during builds.
• Define and sustain robust process parameters for high-quality manufacturing.
• Apply SPC and analytics to monitor performance and yield.
• Drive continuous improvement across production lines.
• Support safety, productivity, and throughput improvements.
