Job summary

AMD is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join the Engineering Services team in Penang to manage master product data, manufacturing specifications and BOM through the product life cycle. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive NPI sample planning and execution, improving processes and ensuring timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• Strong experience in material planning, logistics and BOM management.
• Familiarity with Product Data Management using AGILE or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Establish samples plan and schedule; track, schedule and deliver early prototype samples.
• Solve issues impacting NPI samples; stay proactive.
• Coordinate with AMD labs and manufacturing sites to follow the plan and mitigate delays.
• Build and support manufacturing specifications and BOM throughout product life cycle.
• Release/changes to BOM per change control process and ensure adherence by stakeholders.
• Participate in process improvement projects to boost efficiency and productivity.
