Job summary
Entegris in Malaysia’s Kulim region seeks a Lead Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering (NPI) to lead and execute new product introductions from development to high-volume manufacturing. You will drive robust process development, validation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience, preferably in semiconductor/high-tech/medical device/plastics.
- Strong knowledge of NPI, product transfers, validation, and high-volume manufacturing.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with PFMEA, process validation, manufacturing assessments, and production readiness activities.
- Knowledge of injection molding products, assembly processes, tooling, and manufacturing process development is preferred.
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product requirements.
- Experience using engineering simulation analysis tools such as FEA, CFD, and Moldflow software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Lead with cross-functional teams to introduce new products from development to production.
- Define product success criteria with R&D, Operations, and PM to ensure successful launches.
- Lead transfers from engineering through pilot and high-volume manufacturing.
- Develop and execute validation and qualification protocols for new products and processes.
- Prepare work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing process documentation.
- Lead readiness assessments and identify gaps for scale-up.
- Conduct PFMEA, design reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
- Design and implement fixtures, jigs, and tools to improve productivity and quality.
- Support qualification builds, customer samples, and pilot production activities.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics to improve yield and cycle time.
