Job summary

Exentec Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an NPI Engineer to coordinate new product introductions from design release to production.

You will review drawings, BOMs and work instructions to ensure production readiness, and support prototype, first-build and pilot runs. Flexibility to support both Penang and Shah Alam sites is required. You will track issues, engineering changes and root-cause analysis, while coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA/QC and Supply Chain to resolve

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or related Engineering field.
• 3–7 years of relevant engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Experience in NPI, production engineering or equipment manufacturing preferred.
• Good understanding of drawings, BOMs and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new product introduction activities from design release to production.
• Review drawings, BOMs, specifications and work instructions for production readiness.
• Support prototype, first-build and pilot production.
• Track NPI issues, action items and engineering changes.
• Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, QA/QC and Supply Chain to resolve production issues.
• Prepare and update manufacturing and installation documentation.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure new products are manufacturable and ready for production.
• Drive timely closure of NPI issues.
