Job summary

Aemulus’s NPI Development group seeks a world-class Product and Software Engineer to build and manage robust ATE systems. The role spans RF, analog, digital, timing and system integration, contributing to multiple product areas with a strong emphasis on advancing leading-edge technology.

The ideal candidate will collaborate across R&D, Sales, and Marketing, define characterization plans, develop test software, and validate hardware performance for manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/RF) or equivalent.
• Understanding electronic schematic of RF/analog/digital/close loop systems.
• Experience in hardware reliability testing and preventative procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of test and measurement product design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D, Sales and Marketing to acquire key specifications on new technology and future products.
• Study product design and assess application for new products, define characterization plan and analyze performance.
• Define test software programming, test algorithm and methodology for new product from concept to manufacturing readiness.
• Work with Product Development during tester integration and apply different characterization tests and calibrations.
• Provide technical validation on hardware performance and prepare datasheets and collateral.
• Provide feasibility studies and post-sales support in collaboration with Application Engineer.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer and training with Production Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Aemulus R&D team, Sales and Marketing team, to acquire key specification on new technology and future products that plans to release to the market and roadmap.


• Provide support in studying product design, assessing product application for new product, defining characterization plan and analysing new product’s performance.


• Work on defining test software programming, test algorithm, test methodology development for new product from conceptual stage, until readiness to deployment at manufacturing.


• Work with Product Development team during tester integration’s development and demonstrate fluency in the applying different characterization test and calibration methodology.


• Provide technical validation on hardware performance and ensure new product is able to meet design expectation, and meeting with R&D and Sales and Marketing team on defining technical collateral such as datasheet.


• Work closely with Application Engineer to provide technical engineering support in feasibility study, assessing customers’ new requirement, and provide post-sales support and solutions.


• Work closely with Production Engineering team on product’s knowledge transfer, interactive demonstration and provide training to the Production team.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/RF) or equivalent


• Competent in understanding electronic schematic of high complexity (RF, analog, digital, close loop system)


• Experienced in hardware reliability testing and preventative procedures.


• Knowledge of C#/C++ language programming


• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Extensive knowledge of test and measurement product design.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment.


• Candidates should be Malaysian Citizens.
