Job summary

Fortesys Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Network Operations Centre Engineer to monitor system performance and capacity, handle L1/L2 support calls, and escalate issues as needed. Training will be provided for fresh graduates and mentoring for career growth.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Computer Science or Information Technology, with CCNA or equivalent certification as an advantage and Mandarin language skills being beneficial.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and related field
• CCNA or any equivalent certification is an advantage
• 1-2 years of experience in handling helpdesk with basic troubleshooting skill is preferred
• Fresh graduate is welcomed to apply (training and coaching will be provided)
• Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide support (L1/L2) to monitor performance and capacity of systems and 3rd party network services
• Take and receive customer and support calls professionally, provide relevant information/status/updates
• Perform callouts and escalation per work instructions when required
• Log incident tickets and assign to correct support groups within agreed response time
• Track and document issues and resolutions in detail
• Escalate issues to management or vendors for resolution
• Maintain ongoing communication within the team and with stakeholders
