Job summary

Maxis invites fresh graduates to join the PROTÉGÉ programme in Malaysia. You’ll gain hands-on experience in finance, budgeting, and P&L analysis while being mentored by experienced managers.

As a New Ventures Protege, you will support planning, reporting, and market research, learning to build business cases and financial models for new ventures. The 12-month programme blends classroom training with on-the-job experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply (0–2 years).
• Audit, accounting, FP&A or internships would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning Cycle: compiled data for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasts.
• Performance Reporting: prepare monthly financial reports and dashboards; track KPIs.
• Data Analysis: identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Process Improvement: automate a manual report using Excel or other tools.
• Market Research: conduct market research and competitor benchmarking.
• Business Case Building: assist in building business cases and financial models.
