Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of connectivity design, implementation and management experience.
• Expertise in LAN/WAN, Cisco Wireless LAN, Cisco Catalyst/SD-Access, and network security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable connectivity infrastructure across on-premise LAN, WAN, and security layers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address connectivity issues and drive timely resolution.

Job Description

The Network Security Specialist is responsible for supporting the Connectivity Product Service Lines (PSL) to represent Infra and Digital Platform in front of other Airbus Functions. The objective is to support the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of our organization's network and unified communication solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and positive technology experience for our end users, from initial rollout to continuous improvement, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and user satisfaction. Reporting to the Connectivity Manager, this role will manage Connectivity services ensuring end to end ownership of the product life cycle. The Network Security Engineer will also be responsible to align with global product owners to advocate for harmonization of end user products and services within APAC core countries.

Responsibility

• As part of Connectivity PSL, to provide support in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable connectivity infrastructure, including on premise LAN, WAN, Network Security, Network Wireless, Network automation and Network monitoring technologies.
• The accountability on connectivity systems includes a highly complex ecosystem with 3 divisions / 11 countries and more than 45 sites connected with 3 datacenters. A global standardization and harmonization roadmap remains to be conducted.
• All systems being worldwide and interconnected, the Network Security Specialist will support all strategy and policies compliant with Airbus group and define APAC standards and apply them in a harmonized way to all entities. In this context, he will work closely with the central domain and PSL of each division to support strategies and roadmaps rollout.
• To support Architects when developing technical roadmaps for Connectivity upgrades, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.
• To collaborate with cross-functional teams in APAC/Central to assess and address connectivity issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• To support PSL to oversee the design, build and run of Connectivity based on Cisco, Bluecoat and Palo Alto technologies.
• To support the APAC/Central CyberSecurity team in establishing and enforcing security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard system integrity and protect against cyber threats. This includes all CyberSecurity driven infrastructure deployments and enhancements in APAC.
• As Connectivity is a key lever in budget and customer satisfaction, to support PSL in continuous improvement, standardization and harmonization lever in APAC and Airbus group Contribute and collaborate within Digital APAC domains, and other internal stakeholders to translate opportunities and challenges into innovative technology solutions for Connectivity.
• To support PSL in increasing the usage of Network automation on the infrastructure in APAC.
• Manage/coordinate Network Connectivity projects and initiatives assigned.
• To support Connectivity Manager in preparing and managing budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines for Connectivity initiatives.
• To support PSL in evaluating emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance Connectivity capabilities and efficiency.
• Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience (>5 years) in Connectivity design, implementation, and management.
• In-depth experience knowledge in the following areas: Local Area Network deployment and troubleshooting; Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Wifi technologies deployment and troubleshooting; Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco Software Defined Access deployment and troubleshooting; Network Security technologies such as Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA/Firepower VPN gateways, Cisco ISE, Bluecoat proxy; Knowledges in Network automation, scripting or programming; High Availability and Disaster recovery; Data Center networks; Vendor management.
• Experience with network monitoring tools, protocols (SNMP) troubleshooting techniques, and performance optimization.
