Job summary

Getronics Malaysia is seeking a senior network and security infrastructure specialist with 10+ years of experience in banking IT projects. You will be accountable for delivery of IT solutions and compliance across complex deployments.

You will bring extensive expertise in FortiGate and Cisco firewalls, NSX, IDS/IPS, load balancers, and other networking products, along with scripting skills to harden security. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience on banking infrastructure projects and accountability for IT solution delivery.
• Extensive experience & expertise in Network Firewalls & Security products – FortiGate / Cisco.
• Experience in network technologies and products – Firewall, IDS/IPS, Load Balancers, Routers, F5, Network Proxies.
• Exposure to Software Defined Networking (NSX).
• Proficient in security hardening and compliance validation of Next Gen Firewalls and shell scripting.
• Strong coordination of dependencies and multiple stakeholders in large deployments.
• Excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to anticipate and solve problems.
• Impeccable work ethic and high integrity.
• Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.

• Min 10 years of experience in banking infrastructure projects and accountability for IT solution delivery
• Extensive experience & expertise in Network Firewalls & Security products – FortiGate / Cisco
• Added experience in network technologies and products – Firewall, IDS/IPS, Load Balancers, Routers, F5, Network Proxies.
• Good exposure and experience in the emerging Technologies like Software Defined Networks NSX
• Proficient with Security Hardening and Compliance validation of Next Gen Firewalls and shell scripting
• Proven experience with co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment
• Possess excellent communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills with proven ability to anticipate problems and recommend solutions.
• Possess an impeccable work ethic and a high degree of integrity.
