Our client is an established logistics company that provides airfreight, ocean freight and contract logistics solutions across more than 130 locations globally.

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer who is fast-paced, innovative, and ambitiously driven to provide Level 2/3 support to the IT Regional Team.

Job Responsibilities

• Hands-on deployment experience on devices such as FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAPs, Ruckus Controller and Ruckus APs, Windows, Dell systems, etc.
• Provide support for the local IT Regional Team regarding Firewalls, LAN switches, access-points, wireless scanners, printers, etc.
• Working knowledge of BGP, DMVPN, IPSEC, SD-WAN, FortiNAC, FortiClient VPN, etc.
• Troubleshoot various ISPs and metro infrastructure.
• Monitor tools including Wireshark, Datadog, and SevOne.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet business requirements with a technical solution.
• Utilize traditional and creative methods to develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks.
• Manage secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks.
• Proficient in using Visio for comprehensive documentation of all facets of the network and its remote locations.
• Work on daily tickets using the company’s JIRA ticketing system.
• On-call rotation participation.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Professional Certification / Network Certification is desirable but not required.
• 5 years of experience in related IT infrastructure.
• Experience in Network Engineering is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, presentation and effective client interaction ability.
• Understanding of networking such as switching, routing, and firewalls is desirable.
