Job summary

Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a .NET Developer to transform business requirements into practical technology solutions. You will analyze user needs, enhance applications, troubleshoot issues and support systems throughout the software development lifecycle.

Ideal candidate has solid experience in C#, ASP.NET and SQL, and is ready to expand into system analysis, integration and implementation within GSC’s IT Development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development, system implementation or application support.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET and SQL.
• Working knowledge of MSSQL or MySQL, including query writing and database troubleshooting.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Experience supporting web application environments such as IIS or Apache Tomcat.
• Hands-on experience in integrating and supporting e-payment gateways and online payment systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft development or cloud technology will be an added advantage.

• Explore emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing applications and development processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Gather, analyse and translate user requirements into practical system solutions.

Design, develop, enhance and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET.
