Job summary

Hilton seeks a Nature Centre Artist to oversee daily recreation operations within our hotel’s outdoor and indoor spaces in Malaysia. You will design engaging nature-based programs for guests, lead the recreation team, and collaborate with wellness initiatives to enhance guest experiences.

You will foster a safe, welcoming environment while promoting sustainability and wellness, delivering memorable experiences for families and solo travelers alike.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in recreation management, hospitality, or similar roles.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to plan and run activities.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Passion for guest service and wellness in recreation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver memorable nature experiences: Welcome and engage guests through education and interactive nature-based activities.
• Lead nature activities and programs: Guide walks, eco-workshops, wildlife observation, gardening, and seasonal events.
• Enhance guest engagement: Create engaging experiences for children, families, and guests while teaching about nature and conservation.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment: Ensure the Nature Centre and outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well-equipped.
• Promote sustainability and conservation: Encourage eco-friendly practices and inspire environmental appreciation.
• Collaborate across departments: Work with Spa, Recreation, F&B, and other teams to create wellness and nature experiences.

Picture yourself brightening someone's day. When you join our Hotels team, that's exactly what you'll do every time you come to work! You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to‑day operations of the hotel's recreational facilities, including pools, fitness centers, sports areas, and children's activities. You will lead the recreation team in delivering high-quality guest experiences through a variety of activities and events. You will design and implement engaging recreational programs, promote wellness initiatives, and ensure guest safety. In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Previous experience in recreation management, hospitality, or a similar role, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to plan and execute recreational activities for diverse guest groups.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• A passion for guest service and recreation, with a strong understanding of wellness and leisure trends.
• Open to Malaysian and possess legal working rights in Malaysia.

• Enhance guest engagement: Create fun and enriching experiences for children, families, and guests while sharing knowledge about nature and conservation.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment: Ensure the Nature Centre and outdoor areas are clean, well-presented, safe, and equipped with properly maintained materials and equipment.
• Promote sustainability and conservation: Encourage eco-friendly practices and inspire guests to appreciate and protect the natural environment.
• Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Spa, Recreation, F&B, and other teams to create unique wellness, cultural, and nature experiences for guests.
