Job summary

U Mobile Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Training Manager to drive learning initiatives across its UMEC stores nationwide. You will translate learning strategy into impactful training programmes, content, and coaching while partnering with HR and operations to close capability gaps.

You will design onboarding, role-based paths and digital materials, monitor training outcomes and continuously improve content and delivery across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in training, learning & development or retail operations.
• Experience delivering classroom training, workshops or coaching retail teams is highly preferred.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive nationwide training execution across UMEC retail stores.
• Design, develop and facilitate training programmes on product knowledge, campaigns, systems and customer service.
• Lead training projects from planning to post-training evaluation.
• Conduct classroom, virtual and on-site sessions to transfer knowledge effectively.
• Develop onboarding programmes, learning pathways and refresher training initiatives.
• Evaluate training effectiveness via assessments and feedback.
