Job summary

GRIT is recruiting an experienced Sales Manager to drive nationwide sales performance across Malaysia, strengthen distributor partnerships and expand market presence. The role focuses on distributor management, outlet performance, and achieving sales targets, with nationwide travel required.

You will oversee domestic sales operations, lead sales teams, and collaborate with warehouse and marketing to optimize distribution, product availability and market penetration across multiple product

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience in sales management within FMCG.
• Strong experience in distributor management and general trade.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
• Experience managing nationwide sales operations is advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive sales performance across nationwide distributors and retail outlets.
• Monitor distributor performance, sales targets, sell-in numbers and outlet productivity.
• Develop strategies to strengthen distribution coverage, improve product availability and increase sales.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration, including the HORECA channel (hotels, restaurants and cafés).
• Build strong relationships with distributors, key customers and business partners.
• Lead and monitor sales executives to ensure alignment with business objectives and sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including warehouse and marketing, to support sales execution and operational efficiency.
• Analyse sales performance, identify growth opportunities and implement corrective actions to achieve business targets.
