Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Penang is seeking a Test Development Engineer to design reliability stress and testing approaches for NAND products, and to build test programs that characterize product reliability.

You will collaborate with product reliability engineers, support live production test flows, assist failure analysis, and contribute to burn-in board software development while applying C++/Python and OOP skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Microelectronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Understanding of Automated Test Equipment for reliability testing.
• Solid understanding of NAND flash memory reliability failure mechanisms and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with C++ and Python; object-oriented programming.
• Strong analytical, communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliability stress and testing approaches for NAND products.
• Build and maintain NAND product reliability and characterization test programs.
• Collaborate with product reliability engineers to define reliability test flows.
• Support the operations team to ensure flawless execution of test flows on live products.
• Provide test program support for failure validation and characterization.
• Contribute to burn-in board build and software development.
