Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking a senior Murex Support Specialist to provide expert technical and operational support for Murex and treasury systems. You will oversee End-of-Day and Start-of-Day batch runs and ensure robust interface and environment readiness for SIT/UAT and production deployments.

The role requires deep Murex FO knowledge, OSP/Fast Mode experience, Oracle expertise, and experience with Control-M/Zena batch schedulers.

Qualifications

• Murex modules knowledge including FO setup, OSP, Fast Mode, MXML Exchange, and Datamart reporting.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting proficiency.
• Oracle database concepts and SQL query optimization.
• Control-M or Zena batch scheduling experience.
• SFTP/SSH and secure connectivity knowledge.
• SIT/UAT testing cycles and release deployment experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 5–8 years direct Murex/treasury systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized technical support for Murex FO configurations and modules across Treasury operations.
• Manage and optimize background processing services, including OSP and load balancing.
• Perform root-cause analysis for complex issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Author, review, and execute maintenance tasks including MXML purging.
• Coordinate with DBAs on Oracle maintenance and SQL tuning.
• Oversee EOD/SOD batch sequences and dependency resolution.
• Maintain interface connections between Murex and downstream apps.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT testing and production deployment activities.
• Enforce security governance and annual access reviews for environments.
