Job summary

Luxoft Germany is seeking an experienced Murex Test Automation Engineer for a leading Asian bank project based in Kuala Lumpur. You will design automated MxTest scripts, automate regression suites, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments, collaborating with developers and business analysts.

The role requires 6–9 years of hands-on Murex MxTest experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of front-to-back Murex workflows, with Agile and DevOps

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of hands-on Murex MxTest experience.
• Experience designing automated Murex test cases and regression suites.
• Strong experience in test result validation and cross-environment comparison.
• Good functional understanding of Murex platform and modules.
• Understanding of front-to-back trade processing and testing of Murex workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot automated test failures and analyze environment differences.
• Experience with Agile delivery and DevOps environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.
• Experience integrating automated testing into build, deployment, and release processes.
• Good understanding of defect management and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Murex MxTest.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across the Murex platform.
• Execute automated test suites across Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production-like environments.
• Analyze test failures and identify if caused by configuration, code, data, interfaces, or environment differences.
• Develop reusable test components and improve regression coverage.
• Collaborate with Murex developers, functional analysts, business analysts, and support teams on testing strategy.
• Demonstrate understanding of Murex modules and end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Test Murex configuration changes, upgrades, patches, and production fixes.
• Integrate automated MxTest execution into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
• Support automated test execution during deployments with clear reporting.
• Promote shift-left testing and early defect detection.
• Maintain test evidence, execution reports, defect tracking, and regression packs.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual testing and improve release quality.
