Job summary

Pawget Sdn Bhd is seeking an all-round design intern in Kuala Lumpur to own Pawget’s visual look across social media and digital channels. You’ll create content for Instagram and TikTok, design banners, and assist with video shoots, edits, and promotional materials.

Pawget is building Malaysia’s pet super platform, connecting pet owners with groomers, boarding providers, and vets, with merchants across Penang, KL, Selangor, and Johor already on board. The Role
We’re looking for an all-rounder to own Pawget’s visual look across social media and digital. You’ll design everything from Instagram and TikTok content to web banners, merchant promo materials, and campaign graphics, and you’ll shoot and edit video and photo when needed. You’ll work closely with our Social Media Growth, who plans content and writes briefs. We set the direction and review everything before it goes live, and you’ll get real feedback along the way.

What You’ll Do

• Design digital banners, ads, and promo graphics for our website, app, and campaigns
• Design social media posts, carousels, and graphics that stay consistent with the Pawget brand
• Edit short-form videos and Reels (CapCut or similar)
• Shoot and edit photo and video content on location, including merchant visits, pet content, and behind-the-scenes clips
• Create simple motion graphics and animated assets where needed
• Turn ideas into finished content, on time and on brand
• Submit work for review and make revisions based on feedback
• Suggest creative ideas, including fun or unusual formats, and try new trends
• Keep a tidy library of raw footage, design files, and finished assets

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on skills in graphic design and video/photo editing (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, CapCut, Premiere, Lightroom, or similar)
• A good eye for layout, colour, typography, and framing, plus clean audio when shooting on a phone
• Ability to design across different formats and sizes (social, web banners, print-ready materials)
• Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok formats and trends
• Creative, proactive, and happy to share ideas
• Reliable with deadlines and comfortable taking feedback
• Portfolio, personal social account, or sample work (design, video, and photo) strongly preferred. Experience is not required.
• Studying or recently graduated in design, multimedia, media, communications, marketing, or a related field is a plus
• Own laptop and smartphone capable of design and video editing
