Job summary

StreetPaw in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Multimedia Design Intern to support creating visuals that convey the brand’s mission across digital channels. You will design social media graphics, assist with short-form video content, and prepare assets for campaigns and product launches.

You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to maintain brand consistency, organize design files, and translate ideas into engaging visuals while contributing your own creative direction.

Role Description As a Multimedia Design Intern at StreetPaw, you will support the creation of visual content that communicates the brand’s mission and products across digital channels. Day-to-day tasks may include designing social media graphics, assisting with short-form video content, creating simple motion graphics, and preparing visual assets for campaigns and product launches. You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate concepts into engaging visuals, maintain brand consistency, and help organize and manage design files. This is an internship role based in Petaling Jaya with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be completed from home.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in graphic design fundamentals, including layout, typography, and color usage, preferably with experience using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
• Candidates should possess skills in multimedia creation, such as basic video editing, motion graphics, or simple animation, using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent applications.
• Candidates should possess skills in digital content creation, including designing assets for social media, websites, and digital campaigns, with an understanding of current visual trends and best practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in visual storytelling and branding, with the ability to translate ideas and narratives into clear, engaging visuals that align with brand guidelines.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow creative direction while contributing their own ideas.
• Beneficial qualifications include ongoing or completed studies in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field, a portfolio showcasing relevant design work, and an interest in pet wellness or the pet food industry.
