Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a communications professional to curate content for internal and external stakeholders, including newsletters, articles, scripts and press releases. The role involves translating content between English and Bahasa Malaysia, and collaboration with the Digital and Marcomm team on PR materials.

You will support the PR team in media relations across print, online and broadcast, coordinate with PR/Media agencies, and assist in major events such as MoU signings and product

Qualifications

• Possess degree in related field of Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or Language Studies.
• Has 1-2 years of working experience in Communication related roles (not limited to Healthcare).
• Has good written & verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Has good understanding in media/public-facing relations (experience is a bonus).
• Has basic understanding in digital communication and updated with current news including healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• To curate and write effective content for internal & external stakeholders ie. newsletters, articles, scripts, press releases etc.
• To translate content from English to Bahasa Malaysia and vice versa as necessary and/or work with external translators, OR from English/Bahasa Malaysia to Chinese, vice versa.
• To work closely with the Digital and Marcomm team in communication materials that could be repurpose for PR & Communication use.
• To support the PR team in media relations for various media (print, online, broadcast etc) to reach a wider and targeted audience with the primary focus in Malay and outstation segments.
• To support the PR team in relationships with PR/Media agencies in content planning and publishing and promoting the hospital brand, facilities, services and expertise through targeted media events.
• To support in preparations of major events e.g. MoU signing ceremonies, new service/product launches, tours as well as public forums which includes registration of guests, photography, preparation of souvenirs and communication materials.
