Job summary
BP plc is hiring a Supply Planning Advisor for MRP, located in Kuala Lumpur with Thai language requirements. The role focuses on ensuring material availability for production, coordinating across procurement, manufacturing and logistics, and driving continuous improvement in planning processes.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supply planning within chemicals or related sectors, with strong MRP/DRP knowledge, and fluency in English and Chinese.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics or related field.
- 5+ years in demand and supply planning within lubricants, CPG, or chemicals.
- Fluent in English with Chinese language skills (read/write/speak).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement material requirement plans and manage supplier replenishment.
- Proactively manage DRP and MRP processes to optimize inventory and service levels.
- Lead knowledge transfer for MRP processes from Thailand to Malaysia and document planning guidelines.
- Collaborate across procurement, manufacturing, demand planning, logistics, and suppliers to resolve supply risks.
