Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan & Perundingcara Bright Prospect Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst for immediate hiring to join the finance team in Petaling Jaya. You will participate in month-end GL closing, financial reporting, P&L review, and balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include intercompany cross-charges, service billings, and ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements while supporting internal controls and audits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting required.
• CPA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in Financial Reporting or Auditing.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Solid C&C experience including financial accounting and inter-company transactions.
• Experience in a shared service centre is preferred.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end GL closing and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide Close & Control (C&C) transaction processing support.
• Execute month-end closing activities per MEC checklist and internal controls.
• Review monthly balance sheet schedules and resolve items.
• Perform inter-company cross-charges and service billings.
• Support compliance audits and respond to audit queries.
• Assist P9/P12 profitability reviews and related initiatives.
