Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Perai, Penang is seeking a molding operator to support daily machine conversions and tooling setups in a high-demand manufacturing environment. You will train operators, monitor performance and drive down downtime by proactive maintenance of molding machines, robots and peripheral equipment.

The ideal candidate holds SPM or equivalent and at least one year in molding, with strong process parameter adjustment and problem-solving skills, and is willing to work

Qualifications

• Certificate/ SPM level required.
• At least 1 year of molding manufacturing experience.
• Strong in plastic injection molding process parameter adjustment.
• Strong at solving injection molding machine problems and analytical tasks.
• Able to work in hot environments and on shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding machines and perform daily conversion tasks.
• Set up tooling for production runs.
• Set up robotic systems and troubleshoot cosmetic defects.
• Train and guide production operators and monitor performance.
• Minimize downtime of molding machines, thermolators, dryers, crushers and robot arms.

Work on daily molding machine conversion

Set up tooling

Set up robotic & troubleshooting cosmetic defect

To train and provide guidance and monitor performance of production operators

Understand and capable operate molding machine basic function

Support production in minimizing molding machine, thermolator, dryer, crusher & robot arm downtime.

Requirement

Certificate/ SPM level

Preferable with minimum 1 year of working experience in molding manufacturing line.

Strong in horizontal plastic injection molding process parameter adjustment

Strong in injection molding machine problem solving and analytical skills

**Able to work under hot working environment

Able to work shift (7:00AM- 7:00PM / 7:00PM- 7:00AM)

Prefer candidate who are not smoker or heavy smoker
