Job summary

Alcon, a global leader in eye care, seeks a Technician II to support Molding Production at Johor, Malaysia. You will operate the molding automation per SOPs and document according to Good Documentation Practices to meet quality and planned output.

No experience is required, though relevant work experience is a plus. The role requires a 12-hour weekly rotating shift and a proactive approach to safety, data integrity, and Alcon standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Technician/Engineering related field.
• No experience required, candidates with relevant work experience would have advantage.
• Must be willing to work in 12 hours weekly rotating shift.
• Good to have knowledge/ experience in Molding.

Responsibilities

• Perform optical tool inspection, assembly, PON set-up, targeting, line clearance, mechanical and negative checks, UV readings and PON changeover.
• Handle molding automation operations in response to faults and ensure all documentation is in proper record.
• Perform mold cosmetic inspection and bubble check on dry lens.
• Adherence to Alcon Values & Behaviors, observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Code of Business Conducts.
• Fully comply to Data Integrity procedure and requirements.
• Observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Health Safety and Environment Standards.
